Origin identification : This batch of cordyceps has a golden color with natural color variation, and the eyes are all brownish-red. The rings on the back of the insect are clear (three narrow and one wide), and the eight pairs of legs on the abdomen are obvious (the four middle pairs are prominent), which is consistent with the characteristics of top-grade cordyceps from Nagqu, Tibet .

Dryness and quality : The insect body is extremely dry, breaking easily with a light bend (sufficient dryness indicates good preservation, and the weight contains no moisture, making it more valuable). It has a rich and pure aroma of ghee mushrooms, without any sulfur or musty smell.

Completeness : The grass head (stalk) is of moderate length and there is no evidence of artificial gluing or tampering. It belongs to the top grade of Tibetan grass.
