Q: Does edible bird's nest still have value if it turns yellow?
Answer: You need to distinguish between 'natural aging' and 'oxidation deterioration.' The color of naturally aged whole bird's-nest cups gradually changes from off-white to ivory and even light yellow, while the texture remains intact. These still have a buyback price. However, if improper storage causes mold or yellowing (black spots, sour smell, greasy feel), the value will drop significantly.

Question: How much difference is there in the buyback price between whole bird's-nest cups, bird's-nest strips, and bird's-nest pieces?
Answer: Whole bird's-nest cups have the highest unit price because their shape is intact and they swell well when stewed; bird's-nest strips (medium-sized broken pieces) are second; bird's-nest pieces (small fragments) have the lowest unit price but still have a buyback price.
